Crushing and sorting aluminum cans

During storage before being supplied to the production plant and subsequent transportation, these cans remain rigid as a whole.

Before processing, the bags or blocks must be broken up to ensure that there is no residual liquid or other material that may cause damage and injury during processing.

The material is crushed and then passed through an electromagnetic separation system to remove ferromagnetic materials, and then air blast is used to remove heavy materials such as lead, zinc and stainless steel.

The next step is to remove the paint.
