There are tension lines on the surface of the foil

When the thickness of the aluminum foil reaches less than 0.015 mm, parallel stripes are formed in the longitudinal direction of the aluminum foil, commonly known as tension lines.

The distance between the tension lines is 5 to 20 mm. The smaller the tension, the wider the stripes and the more obvious they are.

When the tension reaches a certain value, the tension line is very slight or even disappears.

The smaller the thickness, the greater the possibility of producing tension lines, and the possibility of producing tension lines is greater in double-rolled than in single-sheet.

Increasing the tension and reducing the roughness of the roller are effective measures to reduce and eliminate the tension lines.

Increasing tension must be based on a good board shape.
