Heat treatment of aluminum alloys

Heat treatment occupies a very important position in the production of aluminum sheets and aluminum coils. Without various heat treatment processes, the production of aluminum sheets and aluminum coils can hardly be carried out.
Reasonable use of various heat treatments is conducive to the improvement of product quality and the normal production.
However, if used improperly, it will also bring serious losses and even cause the entire furnace of products to be scrapped in batches.
The quality requirements for heat-treated products are:
1. Surface quality, no annealing oil spots, etc. are allowed.
2. The performance and organization must be uniform. The performance and organization of the head, middle and tail of the same roll of products must be uniform, and the performance and organization of the products in the same furnace must be uniform.

To give full play to the role of heat treatment and control product quality,
1. It depends on a good equipment foundation to ensure the accuracy of various parameter monitoring and display, the reliability and timeliness of control and adjustment, and
2. It depends on reasonable processes.

The essence of heat treatment lies in how to make good use of "heat".
That is to say, how to correctly choose the heat source, heating method, heat size and heat flow distribution.
According to different heating methods, heat treatment annealing furnaces are divided into fuel furnaces, electronic furnaces, and induction furnaces. According
to different heat transfer media, heat treatment annealing furnaces are divided into air annealing furnaces, vacuum annealing furnaces, and protective gas annealing furnaces.
Among them, resistance annealing furnaces are more commonly used, especially electronic furnaces that mainly use convection heat transfer.
