The price of particle reinforcement is not high, and it can be made by conventional heating methods such as casting, hot extrusion, hot forging, and hot rolling.

Although the mechanical properties of particle-reinforced aluminum-based composites are not as high as those of fiber-reinforced aluminum-based composites, their hardness, wear resistance, fatigue resistance, high-temperature yield strength, and thermal stability are much better than those of aluminum alloys.

The reinforcements are evenly distributed in the aluminum alloy, so the composite material is isotropic.

At present, the application of particle-reinforced aluminum alloy composites has achieved certain development.
