The development trend of hot rolling mills is large-scale, with wide roll faces, large diameters, long roller tables, and a total length of several hundred meters. The mass of the ingot after milling can reach 30 tons, and the mill opening is greater than 700 mm, which is convenient for producing extra-thick hot-rolled aluminum plates.

1. All rollers used to minimize aluminum sticking
are conical rollers. The rollers have emulsion spraying devices, and are equipped with roller cleaners, working roll brush rollers, deflector rolls with brush rollers, and head shears. The
roller type roller cleaner of the hot rolling mill working roll consists of a roller brush, a drive device, a pressure device, a vibration device, a cooling and lubrication device, etc.
The roller brush of the roller cleaner rotates to clean the working roll. The roller cleaner vibrates in the axial direction, the vibration stroke is generally 30~40 mm, and the vibration frequency is 30 times per minute.
Since the cleaned aluminum powder gathers on the rolling sleeve wire in the roller brush, it must be flushed with coolant at any time. The coolant can be the emulsion of the cooling roll. The coolant flushing can also reduce the friction heat generated by the roller cleaner.
There are 4 roller cleaners, one at the entrance and exit of each working roll, and two at the exit, with only one at the upper and lower working rolls.

2. Thickness automatic control system
The thickness automatic control system of the hot rough rolling mill includes manual setting, position control, rolling capacity control, roller correction, elastic curve measurement, storage and compensation, and roll gap setting.

3. Temperature detection and temperature automatic control system
Multiple contact thermometers and non-contact thermometers can be installed on the hot rough rolling mill. A contact thermometer can be installed to detect the ingot temperature on the ingot roller. This data is input into the computer system. The temperature drop of each pass is calculated according to the target temperature, and the rolling parameters of each pass are corrected. Two contact thermometers can be installed to detect the temperature at the entrance and exit of the hot rough rolling mill. Each temperature measurement takes 10 seconds. It is not necessary to measure it for each pass. It is only measured a few times during the entire hot rough rolling mill process. Open-loop control, the measured temperature data is input into the computer and displayed in the control room. A contact thermometer can be installed for thick shearing.
The means of temperature control is to increase or decrease the rolling speed in closed loop control during finishing rolling, and to adjust the cooling spray devices of aluminum sheets and coils on the inlet and outlet sides of the hot finishing mill in closed loop control. Online temperature adjustment is not the main purpose, but the readjustment of the preset through the self-learning function is the main purpose.
