The surface quality of aluminum alloys is reflected in three aspects: surface roughness, surface brightness, and surface microscopic morphology.

There are many factors that affect the surface quality of aluminum alloys, such as the roughness of the roller surface, the roughness of the original surface of the rolled product, the reduction rate of the lubricant, the rolling speed, the temperature of the roller, the aluminum sticking to the roller surface, the tension of unwinding, and the height of the feed.

1. The roughness of the roller surface

The degree of influence of the roughness of the roller surface on the surface quality of aluminum alloy materials is generally related to the thickness and state of the oil film. In the rolling process, the bright roller surface should play a flattening and polishing role on the surface of the rolled product, so that a smooth and bright rolled product surface can be obtained. When the thickness of the oil film is relatively thick, the roughness of the roller surface is very small, which will make the rolled product have a high-gloss surface.

2. The roughness of the original surface of the rolled product

The surface of the rolled product originally has some slightly convex rough marks. As the roughness of the surface of the miscellaneous parts increases, the roughness of the aluminum alloy surface after rolling will also increase, that is, it will become rougher.
